Dying light codes xbox one6/22/2023 ![]() It's a lot of very brutal, very graphic, very gruesome stuff, actually. Maybe you cut the belly, and there are guts. You can, for example, swing at an enemy and when you hit him on the top of his head, you can cut off his scalp and see the brain inside. I actually started getting a little bit uncomfortable talking about such gruesome things, but still, it's not the end of it because the other aspect of combat is brutality where we have enhanced our damage model a lot. And when they fall down, they might fall down on another group of zombies causing even more havoc. ![]() Some of them will stagger and fall down from the rooftop. But then if he flies and hits another group of zombies, some of those zombies will fall down to the ground. You run at him, you dropkick him, and he flies away, but then when he flies away and he hits an obstacle, then his leg can get broken or his head can get destroyed because he hits the obstacle with the head. An example of what we were trying to achieve most is the example of you standing in front of a zombie on a rooftop. The goal here was to give players tools to create a new set of emergent situations they can create in the game world by themselves. What we did is we rewrote the code that simulates how weapons are swung and what kind of forces are applied when they hit the enemy, and then based on that, we have worked on a physics model that simulates what should happen with the body of that enemy when he's hit. The first one is physicality, and I would say this is the most important one where we really tried to take our physics to the next level. And when it comes to combat, we chose two areas that we wanted to upgrade and enhance with this upgrade. We have focused on combat mostly, not only, but mostly. Can you tell me what it’s like to see it out?Ī lot of satisfaction, fulfillment, and also from my side a lot of pride for what the team has achieved because we have really worked hard and focused a lot on this update. ![]() Q: The Gut Feeling update is out, people are playing it.
