Call quest diagnostics customer service6/15/2023 ![]() I have repeatedly attempted to correct the issue but quest has not yet corrected their errors. This establishment needs to create a procedure to close the loop for times when their automated system fails. Timely labs and basic levels of courtesy should not be out of reach. My sister is experiencing severe pain and many symptoms because of her cancer. Half an hour past our confirmed appointment, 40 minutes after we had arrived. A different employee asked a different patient if it was okay that they see my sister before taking her back. When I explained that I was now 20 minutes past my appointment time and that the kiosk would no longer recognize my appointment slot, the employee challenged me for an appointment conformation number which I produced on my phone. When another employee came into the waiting area I began to explain again but was again met with a dismissive attitude. When I persisted, the employee told me to try the other kiosk and took a patient into the back before I could explain that I had. When a staff member came into the waiting room, I attempted to explain my situation and was ignored. I arrived early and attempted to check-in at the kiosk at 1:08 pm but before receiving confirmation a notification suggested the wireless connection had been disrupted and that I needed to contact an employee which there were none. On 4/14/23 I made an appointment at 1:20pm for my sister who has metastatic Epitheliod Sarcoma. How this will be addressed with the staff. I would like a call back about this issue. I now have to try get an uber to Bloomfield which is over 20 minutes from my home to an appointment tomorrow. I now have wasted time off of work and paid for an uber two ways for nothing. Why was I not able to be seen if you have over 15 minutes until you close at 4. All patience were out of the building by 3:43 you close at 4pm. ![]() I do not understand why at 3:35 they were not seeing any walkins. At 3:43 the only person in the waiting room was me and there were no patience in the building other than me. I finally walked out to meet my ride at 3:55. I continued to wait and a tech said did you have an apt I said I did I missed it and I am waiting for my ride. I continued to wait and by 3:40 everyone that had an appointment was seen and left the building by 3:43. She said you can't come tomorrow unless you have an appointment. The gentleman said I am trying to reschedule and she told him you can do that online or call this phone number. Another tech came out and said we are not taking anyone else for walkins. Once gentleman that was waiting before me got up and tried to reschedule at the kiosk. Another tech came out a second later and said we are not taking anyone else for walk ins. came out and said we are not taking any more walk ins. I sat down a minute later (before 3:40) and a tech. I missed the appointment by a few minutes and punch in on the kiosk which advised me I missed the appointment so it gave me the option to schedule a new appointment or wait. I had an appointment at Quest Diagnostics for 3:20pm on Friday, 4/21/23. This needs to be billed correctly and immediately sent back to Premera BCBS per their request. Why adjust billing when you can scam someone out of $1600 instead of the insurance contracted rate of $100ish.I am seeking a resolution ASAP. They billed over $1600 that I am "responsible" for when insurance adjustment would only give them $100ish. I have submitted complaints to the Attorney Generals of both ********** (where their billing department is) and ****** (hand walked in the ****** complaint). It is escalated with BCBS at this point- they have claims management team working on this to get a resolution. At this point, it is fraudulent billing. BCBS has requested that they correct the claims and Quest Diagnostics did not do so and resubmitted the same claims. I got my labs drawn in ******- which is the only thing that matters: Is where I physically went to to get the labs done. ![]() ![]() Well, I did not get labs drawn in *******. I went on 3/4/23 for my labs and insurance was billed "out of network" by Quest for the reason that my provider lives in *******. I have Premera BCBS through my ******* employer and verified on the website, phone app, and via BCBS employees that Quest Diagnostics on Laurel ****** is in network. My ******* medical provider ordered labs for me which I had done in the state of ******. I have medical providers in both states and ironically, I am also a medical provider.
